Mon, 01 Mar 1999 07:21:19 -0600 I may have told this story before, but the first mysteries I remember is
sitting in my grandfather's lap while he read aloud the latest Perry
Mason. We would get up early on Saturday morning and catch the
Interurban and ride into to downtown Dallas and go to Cokesbury
bookstore (a large multi-story book store) and get the book and eat
lunch then come home and read the first chapter. Good warm memories. (I
was about 10, so see it doesn't turn your child into serial killer with
that early influence). My son loved to read The Three Investigators for
himself.
