RARA-AVIS: The Sisters

a knife, hard as a length of potter's wire stretched tight across your
throat.

I refer to Robert Littell's _The Sisters_. Much darker than anything by
Le Carr鬠it has the feel of Noir rising off the pages in tight wisps of
casual, determined violence.

Perhaps this is not a good place to talk about a detectiveless novel...
indeed, I am only half-way through, though odds are I'll have dealt with
that lapse my dawn. Do let me know if I should go on.

This novel is 86. Anything more I should be trying to get from this
natural Noir?

Cheers, --- Phil
