RARA-AVIS: Don Webb/Jack Banaro

very interesting stuff if you want to venture outside the hardboiled field.

But if you don't, does anyone read Ted Wood? I really used to enjoy his
books, though I believe he's quit writing now. He did a couple under the
name Jack Banaro about a bodyguard named John Locke, and I'm currently
reading HammerLocke. Locke is a professional bodyguard, and this is an
entertaining hardboiled story.
