MIDNIGHTS. I reviewed the first book in the Steve Bentley series and
pointed out that Bentley was "series fiction's toughest tax accountant." I
also quoted my favorite line from the book, "When Cadena was a tank sergeant
on Luzon he had pulled the head off a dead Jap to win a 10-cent bet." Now
_that's_ tough.
