to the book - I thought it would be that edition - but no, there was
another edition. The editon I published is translated by Vian himself and
an American army friend of his - Milton Rosenthal. I think the copy you
have (and I have it too) is strongly edited by an unknown editor at
Audubon. The story is the same,and the style is similar - but it is
different.

As far as I know there are two I Spit on Your Grave movies. One is a
French film based on the novel (1959-1960), and the other is an explotation
film made sometime in the 70's. The 70's version is not based on the book
as far as I know.
