I forgot to edit this. Chandler's book will be held over through
January.

On 21 January 1999, the U.S. radio network NPR's "Talk of the Nation"
show will be talking about _The Long Goodbye_ in their "Book Club of
the Air" series. If you have access to RealAudio, you can listen to
an archive of the show, which can be found through

They'll probably have a couple of experts on, and it will be
interesting to see if anyone we know is invited.
