Doug,
Doomsters is a good Lew Archer, but then I think they all are. Wrong
Case is very much in the shadow of Ross Macdonald, although it is so
depressing it makes The Galton Case or The Chill seem downright cheery.
Crumley really comes into his own on Last Good Kiss.
