One movie that comes to mind that combines noir, a private eye
and nukes
is the great Kiss Me Deadly. And I guess an argument could be
made for
Pickup on South Street in which a pickpocket on the subway
picks nuclear
secrets out of a woman's purse. Needless to say, this puts a
number of
people on his trail.
