I don't know if you got your info yet, but TT Flynn wrote hundreds of stories
for the pulps with titles like "Shadow of the Scorpion"; "The Garroters of
Ghost Cove"; "Saratoga Slay-Ride"; and "Live and Let Die". "The Deadly Orchid"
appeared in the April 15, 1933 issue of Detective Fiction Weekly.
