<<Hi, I'm new to this list but could not resist jumping in and giving my
full support on James Crumley, one of my favorite authors and certainly
one of my favorite character's to come from a hard-boiled novel.>>

Wait a minute. Crumley didn't come out of a novel, I don't think.

<<Duane, I felt that you captured Crumley extremely well here. I've
read all of his novels with the exception of "Bordersnakes"...>>

It's a fantastic novel. The assortment of weird characters and
situations is hard to beat. So is the amount of booze and "substances"
that are consumed by our heroes, by the villains, and by the many
bystanders.

<<Anyone know if there are whispers of such??>>

I have no idea, but Crumley takes a long time to write a book. I do hope
he continues writing hardboiled crime.

MT
