I just had confirmation from Amazon.com.uk that they've
despatched a
copy of _Get Carter_, so that at least proves it's readily
gettable--for
UK-based rara-avians, anyway.
Dunno how long Amazon.co.uk would take to send a copy across
the pond,
nor how much it would cost. (Though they also offer _Jack's
Return
Home_ for a couple of quid less than _Get Carter_: basically,
you can
save yourself the cost of UK P+P if you order the original
title).
Did someone (Bill?) say the item isn't even *listed* on
Amazon.com?
(I thought they had the same stock, but with slightly
different
catalogue numbers).
Anyway, now I'm seven quid lighter, can we add _Get Carter_
to the
reading list?
