A pity they didn't include those. As I've mentioned before in this list,
_Killer in the Rain_ was my introduction to Chandler many years ago.
Those stories are very good, and some of them are arguably better than
the novels into which they were weaved or sewn. I guess I'm not getting
rid of my copy of _Killer in the Rain_ any time soon (it has a great
cover, too, and a good intro by Philip Durham with some background on
these "lost" stories).
