works. You all gave me some great ideas - particularly Ted White's
recommendation of McAuliffe's Mandrell books...those sound very intriguing.

And, you're right, Roger - Vachss' SHELLA was an absolutely incredible
novel, neck-and-neck with FLOOD as his very best.
