which Dan J. Marlowe took Al Nussbaum (convicted of armed robbery?) under his
wing while Nussbaum was still in prison. After Nussbaum got out he started
selling stories to Mike Shayne, largely due to Marlowe's influence. I think
Bill Crider can elaborate on this one. Bill?
