Fri, 02 Oct 1998 16:32:05 +0100 If no-one=92s read any novels by the English author, Victor Canning, I=92=
d
recommend him. I doubt much of his stuff is in print now, but his books
are very easy to pick up second-hand. He wrote 4 novels about a PI
called Rex Carver who, although based in London, tends to travel abroad
with his cases. The 4 are =91Doubled in Diamonds=92, =91The Melting Man=92=
,
=91The Python Project=92 and =91The Whip Hand.=92 =20

Other good novels are =91The Limbo Line=92, =91Venetian Bird=92, =91A Del=
ivery of
Furies=92, =91The Scorpio Letters=92 and =91The Rainbird Pattern.=92 Hit=
chcock=92s
last film, =91Family Plot=92, was taken from one of his novels (it may ha=
ve
been =91The Rainbird Pattern.=92)

Has anyone else read anything by him?
