Fred repied:
>Yes, I know Phillip quite well. In fact, we have the same agent.
Phillip is a great guy, and has the natural Southern charm you can feel in
the voice of his books.
To people on the list looking for a new author, I'd suggest you give him a
try. He writes what I would call a cool noir. It's like you can hear
meditative jazz playing in the background.<
...and just in case no-one spotted me blowing my own trumpet there,
you can get my comments on "Easy" by Philip DeLeon at the
wonderful and truely amazing Thrilling Detective site:
www.colba.net/~kvnsmith/thrillingdetective/
...under 'T' for Flap Tucker in the A-Z listing.
Just thought I'd let you know.
Alright, Kev?

"Cos it's strange, isn't it. You stand in the
middle of a library and go 'Aaaaaaagghhhh' and
everyone just stares at you. But you do the
same thing on an aeroplane, and everyone joins in."
