Sat, 26 Sep 1998 22:30:18 +0000 Fred, can I add my congratulations on the following:
"I am pleased to say that Down on Ponce has been shortlisted (one of
three) for the British Crime Writers Association (CWA) John Creasey
Memorial dagger for best first crime novel."
...and can I also add that having read and recommended your book to
that British publisher - No Exit Press - that I am doubley pleased
'cos I didn't half enjoy it. Rip raoring read.
On a related point Ponce De Leon features in an other book No Exit
sent to me for comments called "Easy" by Philip DePoy. I really
enjoyed that book - for some reason - do you know the writer?
Anyway, well done and anyone out there try out Freds book. Great
stuff.
i

Fred
