If I remember correctly [and I notice I'm doing that less and
less...sigh..]
the Karlson movie was shot on location in Phenix City, which
must have been
a rarity in those days...I also remember a story that actor
John McIntire, who
played Albert Patterson in the film wore the jacket Patterson
was wearing when
he was assasinated. Patterson was the D.A. trying to clean up
the town. His son
John was subsequently elected state attorney general [and
later governor] and
finished the job his father started...aj wright
