Thanks for all the tips. Looks like The Strand and Murder Ink
have the honour of the list's highest recommendations.
It also looks like i'll have to put my knuckle dusters away.
Damn.
Zero Tolerence has a lot to answer for.
A friend of mine recently vsited NY and told me about being
pissed
and staggering around with his boyfriend looking for a cab
at
3am in Alphabet City: "safe as houses" he said. Amazing.
If you are all interested, I'll attempt the same feat - albeit
with the
missus - and report back.
Wonder what happened to all those bad guys? Is NY still the HB
city
it was? and if not why not?
