Peter: You gotta, and I mean GOTTA, go to the Strand Bookstore,
12th
Street & 4th Avenue. It has more shelf space than most big
cities
combined, full of great buys, review copies of recent stuff,
shelves
full of used books, paperbacks, audio tapes, just about
everything. And
from there it's just a superb hunt for the oddball book you
couldn't
find anywhere else.
