I am also a fan of T. Jefferson Parker and enjoyed the film made from
_Laguna Heat_ as well.

How about Roderick Thorp? Have you read many of his books? What are your
thoughts?

The only one I've read was _Rainbow Drive_ and I liked it quite a lot. I
thought the film made from it was really fine. The star was Peter Weller,
who was also in one of my favorite films made from an Elmore Leonard novel
- _Cat Chaser_. It was directed by Abel Ferrara and is tough as nails.
