A few weeks ago someone asked about the origin of the Cain
title "The
postman always rings twice".
Sorry for the redundancy of this message but did someone of the
group
come up with an explanation?
If this was the case, I unfortunately missed it and would be
grateful
if someone would inform me off-list about it. I was wondering
about
the strange title since the Nicholson film came into our
cinemas
during my school days and reading the novel did not help to
clear up
the matter.
