Couldn't agree more. What I was stating was that Ed shouldn't
decree that
serial-killer and women characters are not suitable subjects
for discussion on
rara-avis, not "let's talk about Clancy or Michener." Bill,
do you actually
read what I post before you misconstrue and refute? I repeat:
If this is a
men-only group, I'm outta here--and by men-only group I mean,
lest you misread
me, we can talk about anything that is hardboiled NOT that we
should only talk
about serial killers and women, let alone Clancy and
Michener, which I never
brought up in the first place. The reason I ask is that this
is about the
third time you've twisted what I've said.
