Appropriately, they sell like hot cakes at
supermarkets.
Again, I gotta say this doesn't apply to Clancy. He does have
the technical
stuff, which I believe HAS to be included in
TECHNO-thrillers, but he's also
got good characters doing some interesting things. Not to
ruffle any feathers,
but I've read quite a few mysteries/crime
thrillers/suspensers lately that
lose me by the time the PI is in his client's pants. Doesn't
it seem like a
lot of that can be churned out by a robot? A LOT of mystery
books these days
are incredibly predictable as are a lot of techno-thrillers,
a lot of sci-fi,
a lot of etc.
