RARA-AVIS: CrimeSuspense

An interesting pastiche on Cain's "Double Indemnity" and The
Postman are
EC's 1950's CrimeSuspense comics. For most of the run there was
at least
one Cainlike story about a women who wanted to cash in on their
husband or
cash in their husbands chips. While these 7 page stories tend
to be samey
if read in a row they are a great break between reading novels.
One of the
best part of CrimeSuspense comics was the artist Johnny Craig
who drew
average joes committing crimes with an intense sweaty close-up
veiw.
