All I know is this: I'll plug into the local library's
computerized card
catalog the name of a hard-boiled author we've discussed on
the list --
someone, for example, like Raoul Whitfield. I press [Enter].
The name pops
up associated with The Hard-Boiled Omnibus. I look down the
screen and see
this message:
"No holdings."
