Does anyone know of a pre-existing list of hard-boiled
detective
movies? I'm compiling one of my own for now, but I'd love to
find
one that already exists. I've checked most of the links to the
RARA-
AVIS website and haven't found the definitive list yet. I've
seen
many detective movie lists and film noir lists but none
specific to
the hard-boiled detective.
On another note, I'll show my ignorance, what does RARA-AVIS
mean?
