You could have your books shipped 4th class mail. If you do
carry them home,
you can get reimbursed for the VAT tax you spent on them: Just
make sure you
ask for a receipt when you buy them. Giving blood won't get you
much. Try a
bone-marrow transplant (for more details, read Rendell's The
Keys to the
Street).
