I got to meet Lawrence Block a couple of weeks ago when he
visited a
great bookshop in belfast. He read from Tanner on Ice and
although I am
more a fan of his Scudder series and and the short stories
(Hitman was
great) I though that the opening chapter was really, really
funny.
Has anyone read his book on writing, Telling lies for fun and
profit' -
I can really recommend it.
