I'm sure it's been mentioned, but James Stevenson turned me on
some time
back to a CD called "Murder is my Business" and it has themes
from
movies and some great talking scenes also. Some of the stuff is
pretty
obscure, but it's mostly '40's stuff.
Also "Safe House" the CD of Vachss' newest book is the music he
is
listening to while the book is occurring (like John Harvey
listens to
jazz and Morse listens to classic) it's good stuff and you
don't have to
read the book to enjoy the music.
