Excellent books, as all of hers. From an interview some years ago, I
recall Sandra saying that the main reason why she wrote under the Jack
Early byline had to do with Fanelli's being a male voice. As far as I
recall, she didn't mention fear that the books would be rejected because
she is a woman.

Besides, these days and for quite a while back, being a woman in the
mystery field is not something to be hidden - if anything, it's an
asset.
