RARA-AVIS: Re: female pseudonyms

novels as Jack Early: A Creative Kind of Killer, Razzamatazz and Donato
and Daughter. I think they have since been republished under her own
name. I read them some time ago, when they first came out, but I
remember them as pretty good and pretty hardboiled. Spoiler Alert: One
of the nice things about the second book is that the female character is
able to defend and save herself just before the male characters who are
rushing to protect her get there. It makes for a very suspenseful, very
satisfying ending.
