RARA-AVIS: Magical Realism and stuff...

Tue, 4 Aug 1998 17:34:05 -0700 (PDT) Hey all, if you would like to see magical realism go out and rent Like
Water For Chocolate. It has MR in it.

Mario mentioned a name I haven't heard in years, Pirandello... I am still
looking for his short stories in English. I can find his plays once in a
while but not his shorts, only in the original Italian.

I wonder if Six Characters in Search of an Author (his best known work, a
play) would be said to be "magical realism." Hmm... Something to
ponder...
