RARA-AVIS: lee marvin

I just watched The Big Heat which was on Cinemax this morning. It
contains (actually, it doesn't, as it happens off screen) the infamous
scene in which Lee Marvin throws a pot of coffee in Gloria Grahame's
face. But wasn't there another movie in which Lee Marvin gets coffee
hurled in his face? As I recall, he had a small role as a gunman who
was helping shake down a scientist or something. Can anyone help me
figure out what movie I'm thinking of? I'm pretty sure it was Marvin.
