But would any law passed about the content of films have stood
up if the
film industry had pressed its first ammendment rights? My point
was
that we will never know because the film industry, just as the
comic
industry later did, folded without a fight. Those few fights
that did
occur were found in favor of freedom of speech except in the
case of
obscenity, which even I Am Curious, Yellow got around.
