All the Cliff Hardy books by Corris that I've read have been excellent =
and would be good choices for the reading list. I also think that =
Woolrich would be a good follow-up to Cain. Many of Woolrich's novels =
were reprinted by Ballantine about ten years ago, and some of those are =
probably still floating around at used bookstores. However, I've always =
found that Woolrich's shorter work is better than his novels, but I =
don't know if enough of our members could find copies of a collection =
such as, say, _After-Dinner Story_. (Actually, that was under the =
William Irish name, wasn't it?)

Ran across a graphic novel adaptation of Chandler's _The Little Sister_ =
earlier today. The art and script are by Michael Lark. I've flipped =
through it and it looks pretty interesting. The front cover are is by =
Jim Steranko. Publisher is Fireside, and it came out in 1997.
