I just remembered WHEN GRAVITY FAILS by George alec Effinger.
In this hyper-Islam, and full of drug world, the author parodies Nero Wolfe.
I guarantee you enjoy the part. WHEN...,A FIRE IN THE SUN & THE
EXILE KISS have translated to Japanese as SF, but many around I
take them as PI novels.
