RARA-AVIS: Charles Willeford

last post that *really* tipped me over the edge) I phoned the local
branch of Waterstones---no _B O H_ although they do have *one copy* of
_Woman Chaser_ floating around. I was told that it 'might take some
finding': apparently, because it's so old, it might not be on the shelf
anymore!

Then I tried the County Library---they found a copy of _B O H_ in a
Willeford omnibus, but it's in a branch about 60 miles away. It should
be ready for me to pick up from the local library by the middle of next
week, with a 45p charge for the order.
