I've never gotten past the first page of a Prather Shell
Scott novel -- in
most cases, just the cover blurbs keep me from getting that
far.
However, Bellem's Dan Turner stories tickle my funnybone to a
ridiculous
degree, so I'm probably cutting my nose off to spite my face
by refusing to
read Prather. But then, I can only really enjoy Bellem's
short stories -- I
can't imagine reading an entire novel of that stuff. --
