Wed, 29 Apr 1998 07:49:11 -0400 Great hard-boiled bookstore on Newbury Street, which is a great street
to stroll, shop, eat, etc is Spensers, down one flight at the Mass Ave
end of Newbury Street. There are a couple of good used book-stores
nearby, and the people in Spensers are very helpful too, and will give
you info about other places.

Spenser's Mystery Bookshop
223 Newbury St
Boston, MA 02116
(617) 262-0880

If you take the T (Boston subway) take the Green Line to the Hines
Convention Center.
But actually anyone can tell you how to get to Newbury Street. (the
other end where Newbury starts is at the Boston Commons and Public
Gardens, and if the weather is nice, which it should be, Newbury has
dozens of cafes and restaurants with tables outside.
