Sorry, Bill....I had no intention of cluttering up this list
with what
is a personal project. For one thing, not all hardboiled
novels are P.I.
novels, and not all P.I.s are hardboiled (even though they
should be).
People, please don't fill up the list with your votes. If you
want to
vote, go to my website. The criteria for voting and
everything is there.

P.S. Dave Robicheaux is too a private eye! Or, at least, in
the same way
Coffin Ed and Gravedigger, for example, are, but that Hercule
Poirot or
Jessica Fletcher are not. I think it all has something to do
with
attitude, and working independantly of authority, and a few
other things
I need more coffee before I can dicuss
half-intelligently...
