Re: RARA-AVIS: So What Are We Reading?

Mon, 13 Apr 1998 10:39:02 -0400 I read K.C. Constantine's THE MAN WHO LIKED TO LOOK AT HIMSELF this
weekend. Interesting stuff. Moves quickly along. Not entirely hardboiled,
but there's certainly some hard attitudes held by the characters -- no
politically correct stuff here. As for Mario, I might describe him (if I
were feeling a bit frivolous) as Andy Griffith if Andy were more of a cop,
moved to a larger town in Pennsylvania, and more frustrated by the behavior
of the folks around him.

Anyway, I liked this novel enough to probably read some more Constantine in
the future.--Duane
