We just had a rather special weekend here in Milwaukee at Mystery One.
Michael Connelly on Friday night (went out to dinner with Mr. Connelly
afterward with the hard-boiled coven from Milwaukee and to our surprise, he
bought dinner!). I really enjoyed BLOOD WORK by the way. Some have
complained that it is too much like Harry Bosch but to me too much Harry
Bosch is like too much Cindy Crawford. By the way, the new Bosch is done
and in the works with a tentative title of ANGELS FLIGHT. Then on
Saturday, Vachss did a noon signing at Mystery One. He was his usual
charming self (no kidding) but he did say that everyone is asking about the
CD. He said he thought it should be out this week.
