RARA-AVIS: Goodis: _The Blonde on the Street Corner_

Fri, 13 Mar 1998 23:56:49 -0500 (EST) Salon Magazine has an article about a David Goodis novel, _The Blonde
on the Street Corner_, which apparently has just been reprinted after
being unavailable since it first came out in 1961.

They reviewer says "it follows the basic formula of Goodis' work --
first, he establishes a world without possibilities, then sets his
characters loose within it, condemning them to degradation and
despair." Sounds like Goodis, all right.
