Anyone know anything more about this new flick, Twilight? It
stars Paul
Newman as a retired private eye working for a movie star
couple (Gene
Hackman and Susan Sarandon), and features James Garner as a
retired cop.
According to Rolling Stone it's a real actor's showcase. It's
written and
directed by Robert Benton, who did the great The Late Show
back in the
seventies.
Given the quality of the work in this genre by those involved
(Harper, The
Drowning Pool, Night Moves, Marlowe, The Rockford Files, The
Late Show,
etc.), I figure this might be one to watch out for, at least
for those on
this list who like PI's.
But I digress...
