having read all of the Easy Rawlins mysteries in order, I would
suggest that
one new to the character would do the same. I personally
enjoyed Devil In a
Blue Dress tremendously due to the freshness of Mosley's voice
and milieu.
Mosley's plotting isn't anything you haven't read or seen
before. for me,
the subsequent books didn't have the same impact as the first
since I'd
already been exposed to Mosley's world.
