FWIW, my husband, the resident psychologist, says that
disordered thinking
and/or bizarre delusions are enough on their own to get you
diagnosed as a
schizophrenic, as are a feeling of persecution and hearing
voices. I'm not
sure what the criteria would have been back then, and I'm
behind on the
reading and haven't been able to shove the book under his
nose and demand
diagnoses. Probably just as well.
