regarding Robert Crais' change of appearance in his jacket photos...

times change, people change. their clothes, at least. the guy is a former
tv writer who lives in the Hollywood Hills. how the heck is he supposed to
dress?

having spoken with the endlessly charming Crais on numerous occasions at The
Mystery Annex in Venice Beach, I can vouch for his complete lack of
affectation.

the Mystery Annex and its knowledgeable proprietor Terry Baker make a cameo
appearance in Crais' latest- INDIGO SLAM.
