RARA-AVIS: hang the Maltese Falcon on your tree

Okay, I already warned everybody that I have nothing
intelligent to
say, so no guffawing, okay? I went to a mall today and while I
was
browsing in front of a Hallmark Christmas ornament display,
what did I
see but Bogie himself. Hallmark has a three-piece set: a
miniature
movie poster and Bogart and Mary Astor, he in a trenchcoat, she
in the
blue suit and hat ensemble, if I remember correctly. It
occurred to me
that it would be a great gift for any Maltese Falcon fan. Some
of the
Hallmark ornaments become valuable collectibles, too. (I own no
stock
in Hallmark.)
