Yeah, "Whatever Happened to Randolph Scott?" Again, I was listening to
the CD of Murder is My Business and some of the scenes have Lana
Turner--the most glamourous of them all. Veronica Lake and Allen
Ladd--that was hard-boiled/noir. What about Gene Tierny? It seems to me
that the "new" actresses all run together (translated: can't tell one
from the next), but the actresses from the 40's -- now no two were
alike.
